UNICEF the Netherlands has two volunteer student coaches to assist and support the approximately 400 student volunteers in the Netherlands. These student volunteers are divided over approximately 18 teams throughout the Netherlands. You will work closely together with the other student coach, the youth representative, the volunteer network at the head office and the coordinators of the student teams. The primary goal as student coach is to improve and enhance collaboration between teams and to improve the effectiveness of the student network. An additional task of the student coach is being the treasurer of the student network, which means managing all the finances and be in close contact with the director of Finance at UNICEF the Netherlands. The hours are extremely flexible, and on average 2-3 hours a week.
UNICEF offers a unique opportunity to get to know a worldwide NGO. As student Coach you will gain experience with advising, coordinating, managing finances and so much more. In addition, UNICEF offers a lot of freedom for your input which gives you the opportunity to make your mark. Please note that the position is a volunteer position.
